What is platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)?
Platelet Rich Plasma, or “liquid gold”, is the perfect solution to stimulate cell growth within the body. The patient’s blood is drawn, processed, and then used for treatment. The benefits of PRP can be used to stimulate hair growth, diminish the appearance of scarring, encourage the body’s production of collagen and much more.
How Does PRP work?
During the treatment , a member of our experienced and trained staff will draw blood from your arm. The small vial of blood will be placed and spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the plasma. This process concentrates the platelet count to about 4x the normal amount. The platelet rich plasma is then applied topically or injected in to the skin for treatment. PRP has shown to help fade darkness under the eyes, provide natural facial volume restoration, and even help with hair loss when injecting into the scalp.

Results from PRP treatments are expected to be long lasting, though results may vary from person to person
The number of treatments varies from person to person, but on average we recommend 3-4 treatment sessions separated by 4-6 weeks then 1-2 treatments per year for maintenance

Prior to treatment, your medical provider will apply a topical numbing agent. Most microneedling patients report feeling little to no pain at all once a topical numbing agent has been applied.
How long do we See results?
Patients typically report seeing results after just one treatment but individual results vary based on individual skin health.
Commonly, patients report seeing positive changes as soon as 1-2 weeks after the first treatment. However, a 3-4 of treatments is recommended for better lasting results
How long will the results last?
Microneedling results vary based on the area being treated, the needle depth chosen by your provider and your individual skin.
Overall, microneedling results will last longer in conjunction with follow up skincare to complement treatments and aesthetic procedures.
